At a touching morning surprise amongst her peers, Apollo High School’s Miss Volkman was honored this month with The Husband & Wife Law Team’s Teacher Appreciation Award. Personal injury lawyer Mark Breyer came to surprise Miss Volkman with a commemorative plaque and a $500 gift to honor her efforts day after day.
Students nominated Miss Volkman for her unwavering kindness, thoughtfulness, and dedication. One student shared, “Even on my hard days, she doesn’t give up on me. She gives her whole self into teaching and it shows.” Another praised her for creating a warm and comforting environment, saying, “She makes sure to have an individual connection with all her students and tends to their needs when possible.”
Her commitment to going above and beyond has made a lasting impact on her students. The Husband & Wife Law Team is proud to recognize educators like Miss Volkman who make a difference every day.
