Arizona motorcycle lawyer, Mark Breyer, of The Husband & Wife Law Team, has been working to spread the message about motorcycle safety for many years. Now, Mark has been asked to join the board of the Arizona Motorcycle Safety Awareness Foundation (AMSAF).
The Arizona Motorcycle Safety Awareness Foundation (AMSAF) is a non-profit 501c3 foundation that focuses on promoting and improving the well-being of motorcycle riders through efforts reaching out to the riding community as well as the community at-large. The board is comprised of many distinguished individuals throughout Arizona, all of whom have a significant impact in promoting safety for Arizona motorcycle riders.
Excited to Make a Difference
When Mark was contacted about joining AMSAF, both Mark and his wife, injury attorney Alexis Breyer, were excited about the opportunity to work alongside people who care so much about motorcycle safety.
"We have been working with several members of AMSAF at different events throughout the state, but to be able to work with them as one is truly an honor," Mark states.
Mark and Alexis Breyer, who, together, make up The Husband & Wife Law Team, wrote a legal guide for motorcycle riders, entitled, "The Arizona Motorcycle Book." The book, which educates the reader in an easy-to-read format about motorcycle laws in Arizona, is offered for free to riders all over the state. Mark speaks regularly to motorcycle clubs and organizations about safety and protecting yourself as a rider.
"We are proud to have Mark Breyer join the board of the Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation," AMSAF Chairman, Mick Degn shares, "[His] passion to help the motorcycle community in safety and awareness makes him a real asset to the board."
Motorcycle Safety Awareness
There are too many motorcycle accidents in Arizona. There were 2,980 in 2011, which is even more than the 2,735 in 2010, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (AZDOT). Of those accidents, nearly 80% involved injuries and 132 people died.
By providing education and training for current and new riders, as well as a focus on outreach to non-riders, AMSAF works to make motorcycling safer and more enjoyable.
Spreading the message of motorcycle safety is very important to both Alexis and Mark Breyer. They have helped hundreds of people who have been injured in motorcycle accidents, and now they have an opportunity to prevent those accidents from even happening. The attorneys also handle injury cases from auto accidents, slip and fall incidents, construction accidents, pedestrian accidents, and any other injury that may have been caused by someone else’s negligence.
